With the launch of initial capital markets products, growing institutional interest, and a clear international ambition, external perception becomes a strategic value driver — not as a marketing function, but as a capital markets asset.

As Head of Strategic Communications & Marketing , you become the architect of this perception. Your role is to position Alphawave on equal footing with leading quantitative hedge funds, multi-asset managers, and capital markets players — with intellectual depth, credibility, and precision. You build the communications architecture from zero to one, define leadership positioning, orchestrate media, regulatory, and investor narratives, and establish an international trust profile that credibly reflects growth, adaptability, and institutional excellence.

This is a high-impact role within Alphawave’s scaling roadmap — with direct access to management, full ownership of all external touchpoints, and the opportunity to shape the brand and reputation of an emerging European quantitative investment platform.

High-Impact-Agenda

• Own the narrative: Full end-to-end responsibility for Alphawave’s communication strategy for investors, media, and sophisticated capital markets stakeholders — built from zero to one.
• Top-tier media relations: Strategic placement of stories, press engagement, panels, and high-quality media formats.
• CEO & leadership communications: Sparring partner to management; development of positioning and thought leadership across keynotes, podcasts, and signature content.
• Crisis & trust management: Ownership of messaging in critical situations, proactively strengthening corporate reputation with full control.
• Brand & credibility building: Embedding clarity, substance, and institutional trust into Alphawave’s external presence.
• Performance & analytics: Data-driven steering of communication efforts, with clear KPIs from share of voice to deal-flow attribution.

What You Bring

• Experience in highly regulated capital markets environments (PE/VC, hedge funds, multi-asset, asset management, or investment banking).
• Proven ability to build international reach and credibility across DACH, the UK, and the US with decision-makers, journalists, and multipliers.
• Excellence in storytelling, content strategy, and C-level communication across formats (pitches, panels, whitepapers, LinkedIn, media).
• End-to-end ownership across PR, brand, crisis, and trust management at an institutional level.
• A results-driven mindset with strong ownership, analytical thinking, and a clear focus on impact across brand, pipeline, and growth.
