As Head of Strategic Marketing(m/f/d) , you will shape how this portfolio evolves, where it creates value, and how it is positioned for future growth. This is a strategic leadership role with real influence: connecting market insights, customer needs, product opportunities, and business priorities into a clear global direction.

Acting as the strategic voice of the portfolio within Embla Medical, you will bring together product, market, and customer perspectives to create clarity, focus, and direction across markets and functions.

• Define the long-term strategic direction for the Streifeneder ortho.production GmbH portfolio.
• Turn market insights, customer needs, competitive dynamics, and business priorities into clear strategic portfolio choices.
• Develop differentiated value propositions and positioning for key product segments, markets, and customer groups.
• Work closely with regional marketing, sales, R&D, Regulatory, Operations, and Commercial teams to support effective market execution.
• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team across product management, marketing communications, and technical content.

What do you need to succeed in the role?

• Senior experience in strategic marketing and global product management, with a strong background in leading product portfolios, ideally within medical devices, healthcare, orthopaedics, or a related industry.
• Proven track record of leading product portfolios in a global matrix organization, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders across functions and markets.
• Ability to translate complex market, product, and customer inputs into clear strategic direction.
• Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, align, and develop international teams.
• Collaborative leadership style, strong communication skills, and confidence operating at both strategic and operational levels.
• Fluency in both English and German.
• A relevant academic background in business, marketing, medical technology, engineering, or a related field.
