Head of strategic R&D - Alternative Proteins (m/f/d)

We are currently working with a global food manufacturer for their business unit focusing on alternative proteins innovation.This role will combine strategic R&D leadership with hands on product development whilst reporting to the European VP of R&D. You will shape the innovation pipeline whilst working on formulation, food processing, trials, scale up and industrial productionResponsibility:

Develop and lead the R&D innovation road map for DACH region.

Manage the complete product development life cycle from initial conception to industrial production.

Work across stakeholders in production, quality, procurement, commercial and external partners.

Requirements:

Food related degree from food science, food processing etc.

Proven experience managing end-to-end product development from conception to production

Experience in innovation for alternative proteins, plant-based foods

German speaking C1
