For our department – D05.2 Clinical Systems – we are looking for you to join us as soon as possible on a full-time, permanent basis to work in a dynamic and forward-looking team as

Within our own IT department (Division 05 – Information and Communication Technology and Medical Technology / IKMT) and in the data centers, we handle all IT tasks for clinical and business applications, as well as IT aspects across the entire research and teaching environment—from technical process analysis through strategic planning, implementation, and development to operations.

What to expect:

  • Technical and managerial leadership of Department D05.2.3 with approximately 10 full-time staff members
  • Integration of additional departments, including management of user requirements in collaboration with medical staff and the team
  • Independent implementation of (sub)projects in the area of intensive care documentation and clinical procedures, including coordination with other involved organizational units
  • Risk analysis and risk management of medical software
  • Coordination of operations and further developments in the area of e-archives and DMS
  • Ensuring operational readiness while adhering to standards, compliance, and data protection guidelines
  • Collaboration and coordination with internal committees, departments, divisions, and clinics
  • Coordination of suppliers and manufacturers

What you should bring to the table:

  • Completed academic degree (Master’s / Dipl.-Ing.) in Medical Informatics or a comparable field, or a successfully completed degree from a university of applied sciences (Bachelor’s / Dipl.-Ing. FH), or completed training as an IT specialist with relevant professional experience or equivalent skills and experience
  • Solid knowledge in the area of employee management
  • Knowledge and experience in managing IT systems in the healthcare sector
  • Management experience
  • Solid, in-depth knowledge of interfaces and interoperability of software solutions in hospitals
  • Knowledge of medical processes and related medical technology in the core area of responsibility
  • Experience in project management
  • Good command of German (min. B2) and good written and spoken English
  • Ability to analyze and structure requirements, processes, and tasks in a goal-oriented manner

Compensation is based on the TV-L collective agreement in pay grade 14, with all prior service credited in accordance with the collective bargaining regulations.
