Overview
Responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and maintaining a variety of military, commercial, and private heavy equipment and vehicles to ensure safety and operational reliability.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect various military, commercial, and private vehicles before, during, and after maintenance to ensure safety and proper function.
- Identify and evaluate mechanical, electrical, and other defects to determine the extent and type of required repairs.
- Perform repairs and test drives on various types of heavy equipment and vehicles.
- Estimate repair costs (labor and parts) and assess whether repairs are economically viable.
- Create, complete, and sign inspection reports and other official documents to certify vehicle operational safety.
- Plan and coordinate materials, spare parts, and equipment needed for repair work.
- Conduct daily safety inspections of workshop equipment to ensure proper condition.
- Inform vehicle owners about identified safety defects and necessary repairs.

Requirements
Education & Experience:
Minimum requirement: Completed training directly related to the profession or a comparable specialization/Credentials.
Additionally, 2 years of experience at journeyman level (or equivalent) in this or a closely related trade.
Knowledge and Skills:
Office automation (Yes/No).
Driving License: Class B
Language Skills:
German B2 (required)
English B1 (required)
Salary and Employer Information
Collective agreement TV AL II applicable.
Starting salary ranges from €3,167.58 to €4,332.29, graded by length of service.
