HR Senior Generalist with an additional focus on European recruiting activities (m/w/d)

The HR Senior Generalist is responsible for the execution of all HR-activities in Germany and manages recruitment activities across Europe, excluding Italy, which accounts for approximately 30-40% of the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as HR advisor to managers and employees on people-related matters and provide practical insights, analysis and recommendations to Global HR.
• Ensure the effective delivery of employee lifecycle processes in Germany including manage and oversee payroll and benefits activities in collaboration with external providers, while maintaining compliance and a positive employee experience.
• Drive HR process improvement, policy implementation and documentation enhancement in Germany, in line with HR Global guidelines and support Works Council related matters.
• Recruitment: Manage recruitment activities across Europe, excluding Italy in cooperation with local HR Operations.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Labour Relations, Psychology, Law or a related field.
• Solid experience (5+ years ) in HR generalist work and recruitment or similar HR roles, ideally with experience in Germany and a practical understanding of German employment law principles as well as hands-on experience in HR Operations. Experience in an international or matrix organisation would be beneficial.
• The role requires strong self-management, ownership and non-authoritative influence when working with managers, employees, HR colleagues and external vendors.
• Fluent German and English, both written and spoken. Additional European languages or Mandarin would be beneficial but are not mandatory.
