IBM Presales Consultant (m/w/d)

As IBM Presales Consultant you will translate business needs into IBM-based solutions, supporting partners and customers across the sales cycle. You will design end-to-end architectures, run demonstrations and PoCs, and help partners respond to RFPs and RFIs. You’ll stay current with IBM roadmaps and collaborate with IBM specialists to ensure viable, competitive outcomes. This role places you at the heart of technology-enabled business value delivery.

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle
• Design end-to-end IBM solutions aligned to customer outcomes
• Develop high-level and detailed solution architectures
• Validate sizing, licensing, and implementation approaches
• Deliver technical training and build repeatable frameworks
• Lead demonstrations, workshops, and PoCs
• Support partners in responding to RFPs, RFIs, and tenders
• Act as the technical interface between IBM and channel partners
• Stay current on IBM product roadmaps and emerging technologies

• Strong technical knowledge of IBM solutions
• Experience in presales, solution architecture, or technical consulting
• Understanding of hybrid cloud, automation, data, AI, infrastructure, or cybersecurity technologies
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Native-level German and fluent English
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
