Presales / Solution Consultant (m/f/d) for Payments

As a Payments Presales/Solution Consultant, you drive transformation and innovation by advising clients on payments solutions. You will analyze banking processes, identify opportunities, and position SAP Fioneer's Payment Centralization product to elevate customers’ payments propositions. You’ll collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to craft technically sound solutions and persuasive proposals. • Interact with prospects, customers and sales teams to understand and anticipate business requirements
• Serve as SME for payments in banking and related technology during client interactions, providing thought leadership on real-time payments, ISO20022, cross-border payments, digital currencies, etc.
• Develop and drive convincing proposals by translating complex business needs into well-defined solution designs based on SAP Fioneer technology, especially Payment Centralization
• Work with customers to prove solution designs and uncover additional innovation needs (e.g., via fit-gap analyses)
• Comprehend interdependencies within the customer organization to guide engagement approach
• Drive transformational progress in early project phases to ensure high fit and realization of business value

• 7+ years of work experience in consulting, banks and/or software companies with a strong focus on payments and a proven track record
• Deep expertise in payments and solid understanding of technology
• Consultative selling approach paired with hands-on mentality to deliver value especially for strategic engagements and early project phases
• Experience in responding to RfPs/RfIs and delivering high-quality proposals
• Background in SAP products and/or SAP consulting is a plus
• Strong business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit and interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German a plus
