Sea Palace is an authentic Chinese restaurant located on a floating pavilion in the center of Amsterdam. For many years, we have been known for our authentic Chinese cuisine and warm hospitality. To strengthen our kitchen team, we are looking for an independent chef.

The work is primarily focused on cooking at the wok station.

Key Result Areas

* Contributing to and coordinating the cooking and preparation processes *Contributing to the development of the restaurant's menu* Monitoring the quality of the dishes *Providing input for the development of new recipes* Taking over the sous-chef’s responsibilities in case of illness or vacation

Competencies

* Minimum MBO level 3 diploma or equivalent working and thinking level *Good command of technical cooking knowledge and skills* Shows personal initiative *Able to handle stress and perform during peak hours* Ability to function within the context of the restaurant
