As the "Corporate Underwriting Cyber" department, we support Munich Re Group's client-facing units with our multi-disciplinary cyber insurance expertise and facilitate writing profitable cyber insurance. We are accountable for the risk management function for our worldwide cyber business in reinsurance and primary insurance. This includes assessing accumulation potential, maintaining portfolio transparency, developing underwriting tools and standards, and driving projects on cyber innovation and investments.
We are looking for a passionate and engaged intern who supports our cyber actuarial services team. Among other things, the team builds and sets up proprietary applications designed to facilitate the risk-adequate underwriting of cyber risks. Cyber (re)insurance is one of Munich Re's strategic areas of growth.
Here is a brief overview of the internship:
Mentoring by an experienced colleague, on‑the‑job training, and the possibility to join internal trainings; an international environment; and insights from one of the leading cyber insurers.
Students from countries outside the EU must have a German residence / work permit. The first master's degree may not have been completed before or during the entire internship.
