Internal Strategic Consulting Chief Expert (f/m/d) Industry AI

In this role you shape SAP's Industry AI strategy by turning market and technology insights into clear recommendations and actionable materials. You will advise senior stakeholders, distill ambiguity into crisp narratives, and align initiatives across Product, GTM, and Corporate Strategy. You’ll drive credible external positioning and contribute to governance and investment decisions in a fast-moving AI-driven transformation. • Track and synthesize Industry AI strategy inputs and distill findings into strategic insights
• Produce high-quality strategy documents and executive materials
• Advise on portfolio governance and prioritization across Industry Domains
• Support transformation of Industry Solutions into the Industry AI model
• Research and analyze Build/Buy/Partner options and prepare structured assessments
• Provide strategic input to government and regulatory initiatives
• Represent Industry AI strategy externally to customers, analysts, and partners
• Act as strategic sparring partner to cross-functional teams across Product, GTM, and Corporate Strategy

• Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills with ability to synthesize large information into clear insights
• Excellent written communication for diverse audiences
• Deep knowledge of one or more major industries (Manufacturing, Retail, Energy, Financial Services, etc.)
• Established industry network with stakeholders across customers, partners, analysts, or academia
• Ability to present strategic positions to senior audiences and act as a credible spokesperson
• Background in corporate strategy, management consulting, or strategy-focused roles in enterprise software or tech
