Internship Medical Imaging & Surgical Navigation – 6 Months | Start Spring 2027

**Your Mission**
Help shape the future of digital healthcare and surgical innovation. As part of Stryker’s Research & Development team, you will contribute to projects that combine medical imaging, software development, and surgical navigation technologies. You'll gain hands-on experience working with advanced technologies, develop practical engineering skills, and collaborate with experts from different disciplines. This Medical Engineering Internship offers meaningful project ownership, exposure to innovation in a global MedTech company, and the opportunity to contribute to technologies that help improve patient care worldwide.
**What You'll Do**
Develop prototype solutions for innovative applications in surgical navigation and medical imaging
Support proof-of-concept projects for next-generation navigation technologies
Implement and test software solutions using
**C++** ,
**Python** , and
**MATLAB**
Evaluate technologies and concepts within advanced medical imaging and navigation ecosystems
Collaborate with an international Research & Development team to bring innovative ideas to life
**What You'll Bring**
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
Good knowledge of object-oriented programming and experience with
**C++**
Initial experience with
**Python** ,
**MATLAB** , or similar programming languages
Familiarity with
**OpenCV** ,
**VTK** ,
**Qt** ,
**DCMTK** , or comparable software libraries is a plus
Good English language skills (minimum B2)
