Our subsidiaries, Stern Energy SpA and Encavis Portfolio Management GmbH, complement our portfolio by specialising in technical services for photovoltaic systems and supporting institutional investors, respectively.

Responsibilities

  • Deal Leadership & Execution: Lead deal teams for onshore wind, PV, and battery storage (BESS) transactions across Europe, driving the entire process from sourcing to closing.
  • Comprehensive Due Diligence: Coordinate thorough due diligence with internal experts and external consultants to ensure robust risk assessment and compliance.
  • Financial Modeling & Analysis: Develop and maintain detailed financial models for wind farms, solar parks, and BESS projects to support sound investment decisions.
  • Commercial & Contract Negotiations: Negotiate key agreements—including purchase, EPC, development, O&M, and full maintenance contracts—to secure optimal terms for each transaction.
  • Project Financing & PPAs: Manage project financing structures and power purchase agreements (PPAs) in close collaboration with internal specialist teams.
  • Investment Presentation & Stakeholder Alignment: Present transactions and investment recommendations to the investment team, senior management, and the supervisory board, ensuring strategic alignment.

Qualifications

  • Academic Background & Expertise: Completed a degree in business administration, finance, or industrial engineering; ideally complemented by an additional qualification such as an MBA or CFA.
  • Transaction Experience in Renewables: At least five years of hands‑on experience executing M&A transactions in the wind, PV, and BESS sectors across Europe.
  • Financial Modeling Proficiency: Strong skills in building and analysing cash‑flow‑based financial models to support investment decisions.
  • Industry Network & Relationship Building: Established network in the European renewable energy sector, eager to leverage it for successful deal execution.
  • Multilingual Communication Skills: Fluent in English and ideally advanced knowledge of an additional language such as German, Italian, Spanish, Danish, or Dutch.
  • Flexibility & Travel Readiness: Willing to travel occasionally and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a dynamic investment environment.
