Are you an experienced real estate credit originator with a strong network in the German market - and want to build and lead your own pipeline of opportunities? Join Urban Partners as a Vice President in our Credit team in Frankfurt, taking a leading role in originating, structuring and closing real estate debt transactions across Germany.
Urban Partners is a leading European urban investment manager, owner and operator with a 20-year track record of delivering strong, risk-adjusted returns through market cycles. We develop, finance and actively manage high-quality assets in prime locations across Northern Europe. For further information, please see Urban Partners.
This is an opportunity to become part of an organisation shaping the urban landscape, with a strong focus on investing in creating sustainable cities for the future.
We are looking for a Vice President to join our Credit team in Frankfurt, taking a leading role in originating and executing real estate debt investments across Germany and Urban Partners' wider European platform.
As a Vice President, you will report to the Head of Credit Investments, Germany and work closely with the wider deal team to independently source, structure and close senior and stretch senior/mezzanine transactions - building a proprietary pipeline of opportunities through your own network of sponsors, banks and advisors.
You will be part of a small team, working closely together across German and wider European transactions in a collaborative and international setting. We're a team that takes our work seriously, but not ourselves. We enjoy working together, support each other, and value a down-to-earth and open atmosphere. You will also be part of a wider Credit team of around 20 professionals across Frankfurt, Munich, Stockholm, Copenhagen, and London, providing strong cross-border collaboration and exposure.
You have around 7-10 years of relevant experience in real estate debt, private credit, lending, or investment banking, with a demonstrable, independent track record of originating, structuring and closing transactions. A Bachelor's or Master's degree - in finance, real estate, business, economics, or a related field - is expected; relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CFA, CAIA, RICS) are a plus but not required.
You should have strong English language skills, as well as fluent or native‑level German, given day‑to‑day engagement with the German real estate and banking market, including review of local due diligence materials and stakeholder communication. Knowledge of another European language is advantageous, with Nordic languages (e.g. Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, or Finnish) being particularly valued given the firm’s pan‑European platform and close collaboration with the Nordic business.
Above all, we are looking for a motivated self‑starter with an entrepreneurial, can‑do attitude, who is genuinely interested in building long‑term relationships and driving origination independently.
