This enables KD Pharma Group to provide tailored solutions, allowing each customer to differentiate themselves from competitors in the global marketplace. In this key role as IT Manager, you will be responsible for the site’s entire IT and OT (Operational Technology) landscape and will drive the digital transformation forward.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate an IT team and promote ongoing development in an agile work environment.
• Be responsible for the local infrastructure, Active Directory, and cloud environments (Azure-based). Oversee the continuous optimization and maintenance of servers, databases, and networks (Ubiquiti Unifi), and provide virtual desktop solutions for flexible working with a focus on high availability in production.
• Develop the IT strategy for the site and ensure alignment with global standards and objectives of the corporate group.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., CSV / Computer System Validation: GAMP 5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EU-GMP Guideline Annex 11) and protect office and production IT against cyber risks.
• Serve as the link to production and provide IT support for the manufacturing environment, ensuring connectivity and data exchange with production systems and controls.
• Participate in and support global IT projects and manage external service providers (MSP management).

Qualifications

• Completed studies in computer science, business informatics, or training as an IT specialist in system integration, or several years of professional experience with solid IT expertise.
• Several years of management experience in IT, ideally in a manufacturing company in the pharmaceutical or life sciences sector.
• In-depth knowledge of modern infrastructure technologies (virtualization, SD-WAN, hybrid cloud architectures). Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
• Confident handling of validation processes and regulatory standards.
• Ability to translate complex global requirements into pragmatic local solutions.
• A hands-on thinker with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent German and English for communication at the group level.
