Today, our focus is on the development, manufacture, and sale of medium- and high-pressure compressors for numerous applications in the industrial, commercial shipping, defense, and offshore sectors.
Our IT department is in a phase of continuous growth and technological advancement. At our Kiel location, a team of five employees in IT Operations and Support currently manages the entire IT infrastructure and supports the business units in a dynamic and diverse environment. As part of our organizational development, we are seeking an IT Project Manager (m/f/d) to ensure the further expansion of IT services and a modern, service-oriented structure.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the overall planning, coordination, and progress monitoring of projects in the IT Services area in close collaboration with the relevant departments. In doing so, you will drive projects forward in a structured manner, keep track of schedules, dependencies, and risks, and organize the involvement of subject matter experts. Through clear communication, regular reporting, and a transparent presentation of the project status, you will make informed decisions and ensure the smooth execution of projects.

• Planning, structuring, and managing IT projects in the IT Operations department
• Coordination of subject matter experts as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Monitoring of progress, deadlines, risks, and priorities, as well as initiation of necessary measures in case of deviations
• Ensuring transparency through regular reporting, status updates, and clear communication with team leaders and stakeholders
• Facilitation and organization of meetings, coordination sessions, and decision-making rounds, as well as structured documentation of all relevant project results
• Support for strategic IT initiatives, e.g., in the areas of infrastructure, cloud, modernization, or compliance

• A completed degree or vocational training in business administration, business informatics, or a comparable field, as well as several years of professional experience in the IT project management environment
• Strong communication skills when dealing with stakeholders—even in the face of resistance and in complex situations
• Analytical, structured, and process-oriented thinking
• Strong technical understanding for analyzing complex functional and technical contexts
• High level of initiative and a strong focus on implementation and project completion
• Methodological expertise and experience in leading IT projects, ideally in the areas of IT operations, infrastructure, or support
• Strong interpersonal skills with a strong team orientation, particularly in fostering collaboration, mutual support, and constructive dialogue within your own and interdisciplinary teams
• Excellent German and English language skills
