The jobholder works as an IT Operations Engineer – HPE Compute & VMware (d/fm)

Ihre Aufgaben

• Ensures the provisioning of new software packages and upgrades
• Maintains the infrastructure in operational condition in line with OLA/SLAs
• Monitors and tracks system performance against negotiated service-level agreements (SLAs)
• Communicates improvement, updates and obsolescence management of products to the IT Product Manager
• Provides support 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, depending on the needs of the company and the use of automated scheduling and remote monitoring
• Performs the ITIL based support processes that include incident, problem, change, configuration, and event management
• Analyses console messages, diagnoses system failures and takes corrective action in order to ensure continuity of operations, escalating to other technical teams and vendors as needed Supervises system backup processing, and leads disaster recovery t
• Identifies and implements technologies and processes that improve the reliability, efficiency and availability of the systems environment
• Location is Ottobrunn or Immenstaad

Erfahrungen

• Availability for 24/7 on call duty is assumed
• Studium:
• - Informatik mind. Master / Diplom-Studiengang
• Berufserfahrung:
• IT / Informationssysteme mind. über 3 Jahre Tiefe, sichere Praxiserfahrung mit VMware vSphere und Nutanix wird vorausgesetzt
• Erfahrung mit der physischen Server-Hardware von HPE (Compute Hardware / Server-Wartung / Firmware-Updates) ist zwingend erforderlich
• Nachweisbare Erfahrung in einer nach ITIL organisierten Umgebung (Incident-, Problem-, Change-Management) ist Pflicht.
• as Wissen, wie Systemausfälle eigenständig analysiert und eskaliert werden, muss gegeben sein
• Deutsch mind. verhandlungssicher
• Englisch mind. verhandlungssicher
• IT Administration von VMware vSphere und Nutanix-Umgebungen sind erforderlich
• Erfahrung mit der Computer-Hardware von HPE (z. B. Hardware-Tausch, Server-Wartung, Firmware-Updates) wird vorausgesetzt
• Erfahrung mit ITIL-Prozessen (z. B. Bearbeitung von Change Requests oder Major Incidents) ist erforderlich
