This is an opportunity to join a leading German IT service provider delivering a large-scale CI/CD platform transformation for one of Germany's best-known financial organisations. You'll play a key role in standardising DevOps practices and helping onboard more than 100 applications onto a central GitLab platform.**Job Type:** Contract **Start Date:** ASAP (August start latest) **End Date:** Initial 6 months (extensions likely through to mid-2028) **Location:** Primarily remote, with approximately 1 day per month onsite in Frankfurt **Utilisation:** Full-time **Industry:** Financial Services **Languages:** Fluent German essential### **What you can expect*** YOU support the development and enhancement of a central GitLab-based CI/CD platform* YOU help onboard over 100 applications onto a standardised DevOps platform* YOU build and enhance reusable CI/CD components within a modular platform architecture* YOU develop custom pipeline components and automations using Java, Python, and Bash* YOU enable development teams by implementing GitLab best practices and technical standards* YOU support the activation of quality, compliance, and DORA-related controls* YOU work with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and container technologies* YOU collaborate with application teams to ensure successful migrations while maintaining platform standards### **What you offer*** YOU have extensive hands-on experience with GitLab CI, ideally including GitLab CI Component Architecture* YOU have strong development experience with Java (Spring), Python, and Bash* YOU have experience working with Microsoft Azure, particularly Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)* YOU have experience building and maintaining container images* YOU have developed CI/CD pipelines, reusable components, and automation frameworks* YOU communicate fluently in German* YOU are based within the EU### **Nice to have*** Experience with GitLab Security Policies**Closing**Apply to the position or directly contact a member of the team at iTrust for further discussion.
