Position Overview:

The firm is seeking a Commercial Property Paralegal to join its team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role offers hands-on exposure to a wide range of commercial property matters, supporting fee earners from initial instruction through to completion and post-registration processes.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist with client onboarding, ID checks, and source of funds verification
• Obtain and review title documents
• Prepare sale and auction packs
• Conduct property searches and draft replies to CPSE and SCR enquiries
• Assist in preparing reports on title
• Draft landlord and tenant documents and sale contracts
• Prepare Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) returns
• Handle Land Registry applications and requisitions
• Prepare completion statements, invoices, and accounts forms
• Assist with post-completion formalities and file closure
• Liaise with clients, agents, and third parties
• Attend meetings and take notes
• Support corporate property work when required

Eligibility:

• Prior experience as a paralegal in commercial property (preferred)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage workload and prioritise effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proactive, reliable, and professional approach
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal systems
