The Role :

We are looking for a Banking Lawyer to join the Luxembourg office. The role will vary depending on experience:

• Junior (0-2 years) : Focus on regulatory banking matters, compliance, and day-to-day support for banking clients. A solid understanding of regulatory frameworks is key, and prior experience in a top-tier law firm is a plus.

• Mid-level (5-6 years) : More transaction-focused, handling complex deals and cross-border banking matters. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work independently on large-scale transactions are expected.

Profile Requirements :

• Junior candidates (0-2 years) :

  • German language proficiency is mandatory .

  • Legal background in banking and finance; some experience in a top-tier law firm is ideal but not essential.

  • Stable, motivated, and keen to grow within a leading international law firm.

• Mid-level candidates (5-6 years) :

  • Transactional banking experience.

  • German is not required.

  • Stable track record, ideally in top-tier or highly reputable firms.
