Junior Project Owner (m/f/d) - Industrial Automation & AI

In this role you own AI-enabled automation initiatives that sit at the intersection of systems engineering, automation, and AI. You plan and drive projects with engineering partners from concept to prototype and production. You validate ideas with rapid prototyping and ensure alignment with customer goals through agile delivery and stakeholder collaboration. You influence product visions and help shape solutions across software, data, and physical automation in industrial settings.

• Analyze customer ideas and translate them into concrete technical solutions (PoC, prototype, MVP) and product visions
• Plan and structure agile work with design-sprints, write user stories, estimate effort, and track KPIs
• Use AI tools for rapid validation and transition to real-world production systems
• Facilitate internal and external meetings (sprint reviews) and manage requirements with stakeholders
• Support sales activities by contributing to customer relationships and assisting in winning new business
• Communicate clearly with teams and involve relevant stakeholders for technical or product decisions

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Robotics, Interaction Design, Human Factors Engineering or comparable field
• First relevant professional experience in a project environment or hands-on development in engineering projects
• Curiosity about latest tech trends and R&D; willingness to try new things
• Strong analytical and research skills; independent, structured, and motivating work style
• Ability to switch between 80/20 focus and detail-oriented work
• Strong communication skills with business fluency in German and English
• First experience in an agile setup and efficient use of AI tools in daily work
