Key Account Manager Machine Distributor DACH

In this remote, DACH-focused role, you manage and grow machine distributor partnerships across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You drive revenue through distributor channels, shape joint business plans, and tailor solutions with cross-functional teams. You monitor performance, provide forecasts, and support distributors with training and marketing tools. You play a key part in Topcon’s mission to connect data and workflows across construction, geopositioning, and agriculture to enable sustainable outcomes.

• Develop and maintain strong distributor relationships as the main point of contact
• Drive sales growth via distributor channels and track targets
• Create joint business plans with distributors including forecasts and marketing activities
• Provide distributor training, product information, and sales tools
• Resolve pricing, inventory, logistics, and service issues with internal teams
• Gather market intelligence and support strategy for product positioning and distribution
• Collaborate with marketing, finance, logistics, technical service, and product management
• Ensure contract compliance and negotiate commercial agreements and renewals
• Identify local/regional distributors and opportunities; lead operational strategy and pilot projects
• Monitor sales activity against budget and provide forecasts and progress reports
• Interact with key construction contractors and major regional accounts
• Lead pilot project initiatives to test and scale distributor programs

• Several years of experience in a similar sales role
• Professional sales background
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
• Well-organized, accurate, self-directed team player
• Willingness to travel across the DACH region ~60%
• Strategic, analytical, and creative problem-solving abilities
• Strong listening and stakeholder engagement skills
