Laboratory Solutions Manager – Technology Solutions (m/f/d) – Leuna, Germany

What you will do

• Lead the Laboratory Solutions team in Leuna, with line‑management responsibility for lab technicians and apprentices
• Ensure safe and reliable laboratory operations in compliance with HSE, quality and documentation requirements
• Organize team tasks, clarify responsibilities and ensure efficient workflows
• Manage all activities needed to keep laboratories operational including maintenance
• Organize and plan the allocation of laboratory technicians to projects
• Own performance discussions and development follow‑up for the team and support the development of technicians and apprentices through structured training and regular feedback
• Work closely with researchers, operations and technology teams to enable high‑quality research results

Who you are

• You have a Master’s degree (e.g. in chemistry, chemical engineering, biotechnology, process technology) and at least 5 years of leadership experience, or a strong hands‑on laboratory leadership background with at least 10 years of leadership experience
• You have experience leading an R&D laboratory and are familiar with working with lab technicians in a laboratory environment
• You understand safe and compliant laboratory work, including HSE, quality and documentation requirements
• You are comfortable coordinating daily laboratory operations and handling multiple operational topics in parallel
• You are a structured and dependable leader with a supportive and approachable style
• You work well with different stakeholders and collaborate effectively across teams
• You communicate fluently in German and English
