Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a strong background in renewable energy and grid connections?

The Company:

A leading international Independent Power Producer (IPP) developing, building and operating utility-scale solar, wind and battery storage projects across Europe. With a significant pipeline of projects and major investment behind them, they are rapidly expanding their operations in Germany.

As part of this growth, they are looking for a Lead Electrical Engineer to head up their Grid & Electrical Engineering function, leading a team of Grid Connection Managers and Electrical Engineers whilst helping deliver some of Germany's most exciting renewable energy projects.

The Role:

• Lead grid connection activities across utility-scale renewable energy projects.
• Review and oversee electrical system designs, substation layouts, single-line diagrams and HV infrastructure to ensure compliance with grid requirements and project specifications.
• Provide technical leadership across HV electrical infrastructure, grid compliance and electrical engineering standards.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of Grid Connection Managers and Electrical Engineers.

The Person:

The successful candidate will have:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within renewable energy and grid connection processes.
• Strong knowledge of German electrical networks and grid operators.
• Fluent German and English language skills.
