Lead Enterprise Architect M&A

We've been exclusively retained to find a world-class Enterprise Architect for a €12bn revenue Energy organisation who are delivering record profits and pursuing an aggressive acquisition strategy across Northwest Europe. The CEO joins from a $100bn public company with a proven M&A track record and is investing heavily to build the same capability here.

This is a rare opportunity to design the blueprints and decision frameworks that makes M&A fast and repeatable. You will be in a special advisory role working with Strategy, the Senior Leadership Team, and the Executive Committee on live M&A decisions and execution.

What You'll Do

• Design the blueprints and decision frameworks that make Post-Merger Integration fast and repeatable from due diligence, through Day 1, to long-term target architecture
• Own Enterprise Architecture principles, standards, and transformation roadmaps
• Lead integration of business platforms and corporate functions Finance, HR, Legal, IT with full transparency through LeanIX
• Set direction across application, data, integration, security, and infrastructure domains

What You'll Bring

• M&A/PMI experience from due diligence, Day 1 readiness, transitional and target-state architectures
• Deep Enterprise/Integration Architecture expertise in complex environments across Finance, HR, Legal, and Core IT
• Practical knowledge of data migration, master data, APIs, event-driven integration, and IAM
• Hands-on LeanIX (or equivalent) experience as product owner or platform lead
• SAP S/4HANA and Azure Integration Services beneficial; KRITIS/banking/regulated-sector security architecture a strong advantage
• German-speaking, based in or able to travel to Hamburg 2 days/week
