Lead Infrastructure Engineer & Team Lead

Would you like to take the next step in your career and combine solid data center expertise with leading an expert team? We are looking for an experienced, people‑oriented, and solution‑focused Lead Infrastructure Engineer to take responsibility for one of our IT infrastructure teams.

In this role you will not lead remotely from an ivory tower but will be the technical backbone of your team. About half of your time will be spent on demanding expert tasks – “with your hands in the dirt” – and the other half on operational leadership, coaching and removing obstacles to success. You will partner closely with Niko as we share responsibilities and lead different areas of infrastructure together.

Qualifications

• Broad understanding of IT infrastructure – manage data centre environments and communicate fluently about networks, virtualization and databases.
• Hybrid server expertise – Linux and Windows Server environments.
• Coaching and leadership – experience in supervisory work or a natural passion for guiding a team; enjoyment in seeing teammates excel.
• Hands‑on attitude – willing to perform technical troubleshooting, architecture design and maintenance alongside the team.

Preferred Technical Expertise

• Virtualization and containers: Nutanix, VMware, Hyper‑V, Kubernetes.
• Networking and storage: switches, firewalls, storage/backup solutions (DellEMC, NetApp).
• Databases and monitoring: MS SQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Zabbix.
• Cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, GCP, and/or programming skills in automation.
