Overview

In this role you will lead a team of Patient Safety Physicians to safeguard patient health while advancing a priority asset in late-stage development. You will shape global safety strategies, drive risk minimization, and support regulatory submissions across regions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen benefit-risk profiles and deliver evidence to stakeholders, including regulators and healthcare professionals. This position offers global impact and an opportunity to influence cardiovascular, renal, and metabolic safety on a worldwide scale.

  • Lead and manage a team of Patient Safety Physicians, providing project management, guidance, and coaching
  • Drive global regulatory submissions and collaborate with cross-regional teams
  • Develop proactive patient-centric risk minimization strategies for assigned assets
  • Enhance asset value through robust safety assessment and benefit-risk profiling
  • Design evidence strategies to differentiate the asset based on safety and scientific landscape
  • Generate safety and efficacy analyses to support decision-making for patients, regulators, HCPs, payors, and HTA bodies
  • Ensure high-quality, ethical standards in patient safety practices
Zentrale Anforderungen
  • Medical Doctor with clinical and/or clinical research experience
  • Extensive experience in patient safety at a pharmaceutical company on global level (clinical development and post-marketing)
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacovigilance regulations in major markets and compliance needs
  • Broad understanding of pharmaceutical industry and future pharmacovigilance trends
  • Clinical or research experience in cardio-renal-metabolic field
  • Proven leadership, people management and project management skills
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and negotiation abilities
  • Strong ethical mindset with patient-centric approach
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
