Lead Product Designer, Design System

Delivery Hero listed a full-time, on-site Lead Product Designer, Design System - Logistics Rider role in Berlin, Germany. The role focuses on shaping and evolving the design system for Rider apps to support a cohesive and scalable user experience. The designer would work with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and product managers.

What you'll do

• Share ownership of the design system and drive its evolution and adoption across the organization


• Partner with designers, engineers, and product managers to gather requirements, provide guidance, and support design consistency


• Create and maintain reusable design components aligned with design principles and accessibility standards


• Develop and maintain design system documentation, including guidelines, usage examples, and specifications


• Advocate for the design system and provide training and support to teams as needed


• Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design system decisions

What they're looking for

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field


• 5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on design systems


• Portfolio demonstrating design system expertise and problem-solving skills


• Understanding of design principles, UI patterns, and accessibility standards


• Experience with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or equivalent


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
