Lead Product Manager, Shipping

What you will accomplish

• Define and drive the product vision and strategy for a seamless shipping experience aligned with eBay's broader shipping strategy:
  • Relevant shipping options
  • Best shipping prices
  • Reliable carrier invoice reconciliation
  • Transparent shipping label billing experience
• Partner with engineers, data scientists, designers, and fellow PMs to deliver AI‑powered solutions to reduce shipping cost for both sellers and buyers
• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of Product Managers while remaining hands‑on by directly owning and driving a select set of strategic, high‑impact initiatives from ideation through execution
• Establish clear product metrics, set hypotheses, and run A/B experiments to measure impact on seller adoption, cost savings, and buyer conversion
• Collaborate with international teams to scale capabilities globally and ensure alignment with logistics partners and marketplace policies
• Communicate product vision, progress, and findings clearly to partners and executives

What you will bring

• 12+ years of product management experience, ideally in ecommerce, or AI/ML‑driven products
• 3+ years of team leadership experience, with a passion for mentoring and scaling high‑performing teams
• Strong analytical approach; able to define and track success metrics using data
• Solid understanding of solving business problems using AI and ability to connect data science outcomes in meeting business goals
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Passion for simplifying complex systems and delivering delightful customer experiences
