Salary: €80,000-€100,000 + performance bonus

Are you an experienced Structural Analysis Engineer with a background in the European space industry ?

Our client, an innovative and rapidly growing space company, is looking for a Lead Structural Analysis Engineer to drive the structural verification of spacecraft hardware while leading a highly skilled engineering team.

Role Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of Structural Analysis Engineers
• Develop and validate complex finite element models for space hardware
• Perform structural and thermal analyses using FEMAP/NASTRAN
• Support launch, in-orbit and qualification load case analyses
• Collaborate with systems, design, manufacturing and customers
• Ensure compliance with ESA/ECSS structural verification standards
• Improve simulation workflows using Python, MATLAB or FORTRAN

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years' experience in structural analysis within the European space industry
• Leadership experience managing engineering teams or technical work packages
• Strong expertise in FEMAP, NASTRAN and finite element analysis
• Experience analysing spacecraft or satellite hardware (launchers alone are unlikely to be sufficient)
• Knowledge of ESA/ECSS standards
• MSc or PhD in Structural, Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering

• ANSYS APDL / Workbench
• Non-linear FEA
• Composite structures
• Python, MATLAB or FORTRAN automation

Please note: This role requires direct structural analysis experience in the European space industry . Applicants whose experience is primarily in aviation, automotive or general mechanical engineering are unlikely to be considered.
