In this role you lead research in digital energy, focusing on plant control and microgrid technologies for European markets. You will build and guide a research team, shape product competitiveness, and collaborate with product teams and external partners. Verantwortungsbereiche

Define and design innovative plant control and microgrid solutions meeting customer needs
Lead and set up the research team and drive core product competitiveness
Guide product development and technology roadmap with the product team
Engage in strategic partnership technical discussions with European power companies
Represent the company at key industry conferences when needed
Monitor industry standards evolution and provide technical input to stay competitive
Analyze latest technologies and develop strategies to advance related products
Gain insights into European market needs and project implementation issues

Zentrale Anforderungen

10+ years of experience in PPC, MGCC, EMS
Familiarity with delivery of new energy power plants and micro-grid projects in Europe
Deep knowledge of safety standards for micro-grid and power plants installations in Europe
Proficiency in IEC 61131 standard and tools (Structured Text, Function Block Diagram)
Led R&D of products/solutions deployed in multiple 100 MW+ European projects
Understanding of power plant scenarios and European user pain points
Experience with Siemens or Schneider Electric products for micro-grid installations (preferred)
Experience in power forecasting, power market analysis, or VPP development (plus)
Power system software background (preferred)
Excellent communication and leadership skills; able to work with China HQ and external partners
Fluency in English (written and spoken); willingness to travel in Europe and China
