Project Overview

The project aims to develop innovative catalytic strategies for the sustainable synthesis of organoboron compounds (OBCs), which are fundamental in organic chemistry and crucial for the pharmaceutical and materials sectors. Since traditional methods based on carbanion chemistry are poorly efficient, this research explores novel catalytic systems to improve yield and selectivity.

Research Focus

The research also seeks to characterize molecular biomarkers of autophagy associated with cardiovascular risk, utilizing integrated approaches involving cell biology, omics analysis, and clinical assessment. The objective is to develop new diagnostic and prognostic indicators for precision cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities

• The position entails a comparative analysis of the principal “translation traditions” of Petrarch’s poetry in the Portuguese language, from the early modern period to the twenty‑first century, with particular attention to the study of contacts among Lusophone, Hispanophone, and Francophone cultural spaces.
• The position entails a comparative analysis of the principal “translation traditions” of Petrarch’s poetry in Spanish and Catalan, from the early modern period to the twenty‑first century, with particular attention to the study of contacts among Hispanophone, Francophone, and Anglophone cultural spaces.
• The position entails a comparative analysis of the principal “translation traditions” of Petrarch’s poetry in the German language, from the early modern period to the twenty‑first century, with particular attention to the study of contacts among Germanophone, Francophone, Anglophone, and Italophone cultural spaces.

Application Requirements

Applicants should have a strong background in comparative literature, proficiency in the relevant languages, and experience in cultural studies or literary analysis. A PhD or equivalent advanced degree in a related field is preferred.
