Local Service Business Controller Germany (f/m/d)

In this role, you lead the Local Service Unit (LSU) Controlling team and serve as the finance business partner for a Local Product Group, ensuring profitability, transparency, and governance. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, while supporting pricing and product profitability decisions. You collaborate across functions to optimize working capital, project controlling, and financial performance in a matrix environment. • Lead all LSU controlling activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning; monitor key financial metrics and ensure internal controls.
• Act as finance lead for the assigned Local Product Group, supporting pricing, profitability, and portfolio decisions; provide business cases and decision support.
• Oversee Product Group Controlling, evaluating profitability, cost structures, and investment cases; partner withHub, Product Management, Operations, and Sales.
• Lead FP&A activities: monthly/quarterly/annual forecasting, management reports, variance analysis, and scenario planning.
• Drive business partnering with management to influence strategic decisions, support commercial reviews, bids, and major investments.
• Manage cost and productivity initiatives, track savings, and ensure transparency of manufacturing and overhead costs.
• Ensure governance, compliance, and internal controls; support audits and accurate financial reporting.
• Lead working capital and cash management efforts, improve inventory efficiency, and monitor cash conversion cycle.
• Own project controlling across the LSU, monitor profitability, risks, and milestone-based forecasting.
• Foster a performance-driven, collaborative culture and promote finance process digitalization.

• 10+ years in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance Business Partnering
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology environments
• Proven ability to operate in a matrix and international setting
