Logistics Manager Glass Germany (m/f/d)

As Logistics Manager, you will steer customer deliveries across 7 German plants to minimize cost while meeting requirements. You will lead warehousing and haulier ecosystems, driving efficiency and service levels. You’ll partner with manufacturing logistics to maximize full-truckload deployments and continuous improvement in customer experience. This role sits on the German Management Team and aligns with Ardagh’s core values and ethics. You’ll shape logistics performance in a global packaging leader.

• Drive freight costs down while maintaining quality and safety
• Optimize delivery performance and overall cost levels
• Manage haulier base to improve long-term performance and reduce carriers
• Ensure efficient use of plant and external warehouses
• Optimize use of logistics equipment across German plants
• Maximize FTL deployment with manufacturing logistics and haulier base

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
• 5–7 years of managerial experience in logistics
• Fluent in German and English
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Customer service oriented with sense of urgency
• Operational excellence with focus on performance and cost
• Solid leadership, stakeholder management and negotiation skills
• Proactive, detail oriented with strong prioritisation and organisational skills
• Ability to plan strategically and work independently
• Understanding of German and European transportation market
• Driving license
