Loss Prevention Specialist

As an SLP Specialist, you deliver security as a service across Amazon’s operational sites to safeguard people and assets. You contribute to emergency planning, identify vulnerabilities, and coordinate risk mitigation with internal teams and external partners. You perform audits, investigations, and data-driven analyses to improve processes and prevent loss. You work with cross-functional stakeholders to maintain security standards and educate teams, helping sustain business continuity and protect the brand.

• Support resilience of operations through emergency and crisis planning for sites within area of responsibility
• Identify vulnerabilities (loss, associate experience, process improvement) and implement mitigating actions with legal and ethical compliance
• Serve as point of contact to coordinate risk management with local management and external parties (e.g., law enforcement) on security matters
• Ensure compliance of assigned sites with Amazon global security standards
• Conduct physical security audits and investigate policy violations, security incidents, and loss events
• Collect information through monitoring systems, data reports, and interviews; identify process vulnerabilities and develop mitigating measures
• Maintain physical integrity of sites by auditing and monitoring system health and coordinating with SMEs and external suppliers
• Collaborate with external security service providers to ensure high-quality security services and customer experience
• Act as point of contact for internal/external departments (legal, HR, security providers, local law enforcement) on SLP matters
• Deliver loss prevention education and awareness programs and liaise on policy and procedures across management levels

• Experience in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, investigations, or related fields
• Experience with the MS Office suite in a professional environment
• Fluent German (speaking, writing, reading)
• Business English skills (verbal and written)
