Loss Prevention Expert, Security & Loss Prevention

In this role you will deliver security as a service to Amazon’s operational sites across the end-to-end supply chain, protecting people and preventing loss. You will work with a cross-functional Security and Loss Prevention team to audit, investigate, and implement mitigating measures that strengthen site resilience and safeguard assets. You’ll coordinate with local management and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with global standards, and contribute to budget planning for security services. This position offers hands-on security leadership across a broad geographic area, with meaningful impact on operations and brand protection.

• Support resilience of business operations by contributing to emergency and crisis planning for sites
• Identify vulnerabilities (loss, associate experience, process improvement) and define mitigating actions while ensuring legal and ethical compliance
• Coordinate with local management and external stakeholders (e.g., law enforcement, industry associations) on security matters
• Ensure sites comply with Amazon global security standards
• Own Security and Loss Prevention projects at local, regional, and country levels
• Conduct regular physical security audits and investigate policy violations, incidents, and loss events
• Monitor systems and data reports, conduct interviews to collect information during investigations
• Identify and drive mitigating measures to address process vulnerabilities
• Maintain physical security infrastructure by auditing health status of systems and coordinating with SMEs and external suppliers
• Participate in budgetary planning for external security suppliers
• Engage daily with external security service providers to ensure high-quality service and customer experience
• Deliver loss prevention education and awareness programs across management levels and teams
• Implement and manage the Security and Loss Prevention plan across the organisation

• Experience in law enforcement or a security-related profession
• Experience with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment
• English fluency (C1 or above)
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• Experience in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory management, investigations, supply chain, auditing, or compliance
