Senior Security Expert SIM Data

In this role you safeguard Vodafone’s most sensitive SIM credentials within the SIM data generation service, leading security standards across data production and data centre operations. You oversee security frameworks, regulatory compliance, and risk assessments, while validating external partners and driving incident response and audit readiness. You will shape secure data handling, key exchange ceremonies, and policy development in a global, cross-functional context. This is a critical role for protecting customer access to Vodafone networks and maintaining trust through rigorous security and governance.

• Continuously manage risk and review security policies to prevent data loss or unauthorized access to SIM data during operations and development
• Execute compliance procedures per Vodafone policies and telecom standards, and develop new security methods and procedures
• Prepare for and support internal and external audits, ensuring GSMA SAS-UP, SAS-SM, and ISO/IEC 27001 compliance
• Assess external partner deliveries, track service deliverables, and escalate as needed
• Coordinate incident responses and produce reports and action plans to mitigate vulnerabilities
• Define and conduct secure key exchange ceremonies aligned with customer needs and regulatory requirements

• Higher education degree in Engineering / IT / Security
• SIM and telecommunications security experience
• Ability to interpret and apply technical standards
• Trustworthy with business secrets
• Experience with complex processes and projects
• Excellent English communication and collaboration skills
• Experience working with local and remote international stakeholders
• Strong strategic and analytical capabilities
• Proven risk and incident management skills
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity, cloud/network protection, and cryptography
• Certified CISM or CISSP
• Experience in security audit execution
