We at Yara produce solutions for sustainable agriculture and environmental protection. We collaborate with various stakeholders to address global challenges such as food security, natural resource sufficiency, and climate change responsibly and profitably. Our Kokkola factories produce feed phosphates and potassium sulfate, and operate phosphate and ammonia terminals. About 85 experts work at the Kokkola sites. Responsibilities

• Managing the department’s work permit process.
• Supporting safe and high‑quality production.
• Preparing and issuing work permits.
• Ensuring safety documentation.
• Monitoring safety compliance.
• Participating in risk assessments and incident investigations.
• Maintaining safety equipment.
• Reporting and developing safety practices.

Qualifications

• Relevant education (e.g., AMK).
• Experience in process or chemical industries.
• Positive attitude towards safety and continuous improvement.
• Initiative and good collaboration skills.
• Fluent in Finnish and English.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of LEAN principles.
