  • Develop measurement and, where relevant, calibration methods and reference procedures.
  • Analyse measurement uncertainty and traceability.
  • Develop automated test and calibration systems.
  • Contribute to standardisation activities within IEC, ISO and other relevant organisations.

People management

As the day-to-day manager of the team, you will:

  • Have line management responsibility for six engineers.
  • Conduct performance and development reviews and support ongoing employee development.
  • Ensure effective prioritisation and planning of the team's activities.
  • Create a motivating and professionally inspiring working environment.
  • Support knowledge sharing and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Coach employees and develop their technical competencies.
  • Recruit new employees in line with the organisation's development.
  • Work closely with project managers and the Head of R&D on resource planning.
  • Work closely with Product Management on development and customer projects and on resolving technical issues.

Qualifications

We expect you to have:

  • A PhD in Acoustics and/or Signal Processing or a related field.
  • Approximately five years of experience from relevant industry or applied research.
  • Documented experience in developing precision measurement systems or, for example, medical devices.
  • Experience in acoustic metrology and measurement technology.
  • Experience in developing test methods and laboratory equipment.
