Manager Corporate Controlling (m/f/d)

In this role at tesa you will be a trusted business partner to senior management, shaping financial decision-making and long-term value creation. You will translate data into actionable recommendations, drive forward-looking planning and forecasting, and help modernize controlling with digital tools. You work closely with regions, BUs, and corporate functions to ensure transparent, consistent financial steering. You will challenge assumptions, influence decisions, and align financial targets with execution to support strategic objectives.

• Guide financial decision-making with reporting, KPI monitoring and forward-looking forecasts
• Coordinate and steer global planning and forecasting across regions and Business Units
• Analyze budget variances and translate findings into decision-ready recommendations
• Conduct profitability, cost and variance analyses to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
• Act as sparring partner for senior stakeholders, challenging assumptions and influencing decisions
• Contribute to strategy development and performance reviews, ensuring alignment with targets
• Drive digital, data-driven modernization of the controlling function

• University degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
• approx. 5+ years in controlling (business, regional) and corporate finance in an international environment
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes
• Proven track record in financial planning, analysis and improving controlling tools/processes
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to translate complexity into actionable insights
• High proactivity, independence, resilience, and ownership
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with senior stakeholders
• Experience with ERP, consolidation systems & tools, Analysis for Office, and advanced Excel; affinity for digital/data-driven methods
