Manager of Commercial Master Data (x|f|m) 

In this role you will lead the commercial master data quality and lifecycle across systems to support reliable commercial execution. You will join a nine-person Revenue Operations team in a hybrid Goettingen role, collaborating with IT and commercial teams. You will drive data governance, issue resolution, and guidance on correct data usage to minimize disruptions. • Create, update and correct master data using defined workflows and validation rules to support daily commercial activities
• Monitor data quality through regular checks, identify patterns, and provide insights for ongoing usability of master data
• Translate data definitions into practical guidance to ensure consistent handling across commercial operations
• Assess impact of data changes on downstream activities and risks to prevent process disruptions
• Document and escalate cross-system inconsistencies with root causes and business impact for IT resolution
• Provide clear data handling guidance to commercial users and highlight common error patterns
• Support data governance by clarifying usage rules and maintaining data standards
• Coordinate with commercial teams and IT through structured issue definitions and escalation
• Ensure data processes meet defined SLAs and scale with operational volume

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Life Science, Data Management or related field
• Several years of experience in master data management, commercial operations, or data quality roles
• Deep understanding of data structures and system landscapes
• Strong experience in data maintenance, cleansing, and quality monitoring
• Experience managing high-volume operational data processes with defined SLAs
• Clear understanding of how master data supports commercial execution and reporting
• Ability to communicate and coordinate data-related topics across commercial teams and IT
• Fluent in English; German or Spanish a plus
