Manager – Provider Contracting

Responsibilities

• Managing, developing and maintaining harmonious working relationships with assigned providers
• Managing provider agreement negotiation operations
• Managing staff including but not limited to hiring, training, performance reviews, pay administration, and budget

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree and 4 years health care administration/managed care experience OR 8 years health care administration/managed care experience
• Leadership skills
• Verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of corporate personnel and assigned providers
• Analytical skills
• Planning skills
• Negotiation skills
• Experience consistently meeting deadlines and working well under pressure
• PC proficiency including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and databases
• Experience developing and analyzing reports
• Team player and people oriented
• Ability and willingness to travel, including overnight stays
