Manager Technical Product Support Operations (f/m/d)

Lead the Electrical, Powertrain and Body & Chassis Technical Support teams and drive operational excellence across Mazda Europe. You will ensure effective field quality resolution, technical support delivery and continuous improvement while acting as the operational link between Mazda Motor Europe (MME), Mazda Motor Corporation (MC), Changan Mazda Automobile (CMA), National Sales Companies (NSC) and Alliance partners. Combining technical expertise with strong leadership, you will contribute directly to product quality, customer satisfaction and business performance.

• Lead and develop the Electrical, Powertrain and Body & Chassis Technical Support teams, ensuring consistent leadership, capability development, balanced resource allocation and achievement of operational KPIs, service levels and quality objectives.
• Drive operational field quality resolution by leading investigations, root cause analysis, implementation of Service Fixes, Mass Production Fixes and Inventory Planning Optimization, ensuring timely and robust resolution of product quality information (PQI), Warranty and other critical quality issues.
• Coordinate technical product support across European markets, leading field investigations with MC, CMA, Mazda Research Europe (MRE), NSCs and Alliance partners while managing CMA programmes, Real-World Evaluation activities and over-the-air testing.
• Act as the primary operational interface between Technical Product Support, MC, CMA, Alliance partners, NSCs and internal business functions, ensuring effective communication, stakeholder alignment and delivery of governance and management reporting.
• Analyse quality and vehicle performance data, including PQI, Warranty, CPU, R/1000, ODR and Connectivity information, translating insights into operational priorities, corrective actions and sustainable quality improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation and automation of technical support processes, reporting and governance to increase efficiency, transparency and operational performance.
• Lead complex technical programmes and cross-functional improvement initiatives across European markets, ensuring successful delivery within agreed scope, quality, budget and timelines while supporting effective implementation within the NSCs.
• Build strong partnerships across Mazda Europe, promoting collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation and best practices while contributing to the achievement of wider Customer Service objectives.

Passion meets power - Your profile

• Degree in Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Technical Sciences or a comparable technical discipline.
• Extensive experience within the automotive industry in areas such as Field Quality, Vehicle Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development, Plant Launch, Supplier Quality or Technical Product Support.
• Strong technical expertise in field quality resolution, warranty analysis, vehicle diagnostics and engineering processes, combined with a sound understanding of vehicle production, quality assurance, launch processes, engineering change management and engineering validation standards.
• Proven ability to analyse complex technical data, lead quality improvement activities and deliver operational results in an international environment.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking, decision-making, communication and stakeholder management skills with a collaborative and customer-oriented mindset.
• Fluent English; Japanese language skills are considered an advantage.
