Within Advisory & Financing Solutions, Equity Capital Markets offers a unique and fully-fledged platform for the entire range of equity solutions which include among others: Initial Public Offerings, follow-on equity raisings via accelerated placings or rights Issues, block trades complemented by equity-linked products and derivative solutions. The ECM team based in Munich covers Corporate clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Through our strategic alliance with Kepler Cheuvreux, we offer our clients one of the largest equity platforms in Europe.

What you'll be doing

• Lead the origination, structuring and execution of equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights issues, primary and secondary ABBs as well as equity-linked transactions
• Develop senior client relationships and act as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, management boards and key shareholders across Germany, Austria and Switzerland
• Design and implement business development strategies to source new clients and opportunities while contributing to the growth of the ECM franchise and broader Investment Banking platform
• Take overall responsibility for ECM transaction execution, coordinating internal and external stakeholders throughout all project phases
• Work closely with with other teams, e.g. syndicate, advisory, financing as well as client coverage to deliver integrated client solutions
• Represent the ECM franchise in client meetings, pitches and investor discussions
• Contribute to strategic initiatives, product development and market intelligence to further strengthen the ECM platform

What you'll need to succeed

• University degree or equivalent qualification with above average academic results
• Ideally 10+ years of professional experience in ECM or related areas of investment banking
• Extensive Global Coordinator track record in ECM transaction, including IPOs, rights issues, primary and secondary ABBs as well as equity-linked transactions
• Strong commercial mindset with demonstrated ability to develop client relationships and generate business opportunities.
• Apply knowledge/skills through handling complex problems and/or coordinating work which may extend beyond own product area of expertise; share expertise with more junior colleagues and other departments
• Dynamic, highly self-motivated, able to work to meet deadlines under pressure
• Strong project management skills, experienced in working in strategic projects, with cross-functional teams and on C-level
• Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Fluent in German and English language
