Company Description DogMap.info is a global, free, nonprofit project that helps people discover and mark dog-friendly locations, areas with access only for assistance dogs, and places where access is blocked. It enables users to review pet policies, find suitable dog-friendly accommodations, explore local offers, and read community reviews with AI-generated summaries of dog-related feedback. DogMap.info is rapidly expanding worldwide and is approaching one million markers, making it the largest app of its kind. The platform builds community, raises awareness about assistance dogs, and supports certified assistance dog teams through the Assistance Dog Foundation. DogMap.info is available on the web and in the Google Play and Apple App Store in 23 languages.

Role Description This is a flexible, remote Marketing and Public Relations role. The assistant will support marketing campaigns, social media channels, and community outreach to promote DogMap.info and its mission, and grow its partner base.

Daily tasks include engagement with stakeholders, coordinating PR activities, and maintaining relationships with media outlets and partners. The role also involves responding to user inquiries, gathering feedback from the community, and assisting in promotional activities.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with users, partners, and internal teams.
• We welcome assistance dog handlers!
• Experience in Public Relations, Media Relations, and handling Press Releases for campaigns or organizations.
• knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation is an advantage.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and the eye on the big goals
• Interest in animal welfare, assistance dogs, and an inclusive world.
• Proficiency in English; additional language are a plus.
• Relevant education or experience in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
