Position Overview

We are looking for a reliable, tactical, and highly organized Marketing Project Manager to keep our marketing operations and project workflows running smoothly.

Initially, this role will blend right-hand operational support to the VP of Marketing with day-to-day project management across the marketing function. Over time, we see this role expanding in scope and responsibility as our business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Workflow Coordination

• Task & Timeline Ownership: Manage end-to-end execution of marketing projects, ensuring all deliverables, assets, and campaign milestones are completed on time.
• Contractor & Agency Management: Serve as the primary operational point of contact for specialized external contractors, freelance copywriters, and design agencies—holding partners accountable to briefs, quality standards, and deadlines.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely between marketing, sales, and internal stakeholders to maintain smooth communication and keep cross-departmental projects moving forward.

2. Right-Hand Operational Support to the VP of Marketing

• Resource & Capacity Tracking: Help monitor team capacity, track project statuses, and flag potential bottlenecks early to maintain operational velocity.
• Asset & Content Organization: Maintain our digital asset management systems, ensuring marketing materials, sales collateral, and templates are structured, organized, and easily accessible.
• Meeting & Review Preparation: Assist in preparing agendas, project dashboards, and status reports for weekly team syncs, campaign reviews, and executive updates.

3. Process Improvement & Future Scope Growth

• Process Documentation: Help document, refine, and optimize standard operating procedures (SOPs) for recurring marketing campaigns and creative requests.
• Performance Tracking: Assist in gathering campaign data and operational metrics to evaluate project efficiency and asset performance.
• Career Trajectory: As the marketing department grows, this role is designed to take on increased ownership over specialized marketing channels, budget tracking, and operational strategy.

Candidate Qualifications & Ideal Profile

Required Experience & Skills

• Professional Experience: 1–3+ years of hands-on project management, marketing operations, or account management experience (agency or in-house B2B background preferred).
• Organized & Execution-Focused: Exceptional attention to detail, strong time-management skills, and a proactive approach to keeping tasks on schedule.
• Project Management Tools: Familiarity with modern project management software (e.g., Asana, ClickUp, Monday.com, Trello, or Jira).
• Strong Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with internal leaders and external contractors.
• Growth Mindset: High adaptability, enthusiasm for learning B2B sales/marketing alignment, and a desire to build a long-term career path in marketing management.
