Marketing Specialist (m/f/d)

Who will you be working with?

You're part of the global Friction & Rubber Group within Wabtec Corporation, a leading provider of friction and elastomer solutions for the rail, industrial, and powersports industries. The team operates in an international Product Line environment, collaborating closely with Sales, Engineering, and Communications functions to support sustainable, innovative solutions.

How will you make a difference?

As a Marketing Specialist, you will support and partially drive global marketing activities for the Friction & Rubber product portfolio. Your role focuses on developing marketing materials, supporting product launches, and strengthening communication across the Product Line.

Typical responsibilities

• Support and help drive global marketing initiatives for the Product Line
• Contribute to value propositions, product positioning, and key messaging
• Create and maintain marketing and sales enablement materials
• Support product launches and portfolio communication activities
• Conduct market and competitor analyses
• Support trade fairs, customer events, and internal marketing initiatives
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international teams

Qualifications

• Degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field
• Several years of professional experience in marketing (B2B or industrial environment preferred)
• Strong interest in technology, mobility, and sustainability topics
• Structured and proactive working style with strong communication skills
• Experience working in cross‑functional and/or international teams is a plus
• Fluent English required
