Job Description

Mechanical Engineer

Feasibility analysis, Mechanical concept creation, Illumination concept creation, Mechanical structure design, Support to customer for mechanical design issues and mechanical parts approval

Main Responsible area/tasks

1. Mechanical structure design
   1. Interfaces Mechanical Engineering points (for example: restricted area file of PCB, connector position)
   2. Mechanical structure design including material selection, CAD modeling, tolerance calculation, create drawings, create and update bill of material
   3. Review supplier drawing/specifications. Review supplier tooling design.
   4. Communicate with customer on design requirements and design release
2. Design quality
   1. Risk analysis for mechanical engineering
   2. Review design with tooling expert and manufacturing planning
   3. Work on initial sample inspection reports
   4. DFMEA create and release
3. Documentation
   1. Documentation of development results (CAD data, test specification, review protocols)
   2. Create and release test plan, test specification
4. Support
   1. Coordination with responsible manufacturing planner
   2. Support of customer

Qualifications

1. Bachelor degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics Engineering / Mold design and Manufacture, or equivalent
2. Capable for daily English communication
3. Minimum 3 years working experience in related area
4. Tool: Creo for 3D and 2D drawings
