Medical Advisor – Patient Support

The Medical Advisor Patient Support (PS) focuses on patient needs to improve patient services and healthcare tools in Germany. You will manage patient services, materials, and healthcare tools while maintaining high scientific expertise in relevant areas. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient programs and brand perception. You drive compliant, valuable programs and train staff on Medical Affairs topics, contributing to patient outcomes and a patient-centric strategy.

• Design and implement patient services at country level aligned with cross-functional teams and global counterparts
• Capture the voice of patients and translate insights into programs and tools
• Interact with patients, HCPs and stakeholders to understand needs within the German healthcare context
• Present and validate programs with patient advocacy teams to ensure meaningful patient programs
• Ensure compliance with SOPs, local regulations, data privacy, and PV reporting
• Lead training on Medical Affairs topics for relevant staff
• Participate in Brand Teams to capture internal stakeholder insights
• Maintain knowledge of local pharmaceutical regulation and implement Alexion policies
• Coordinate timely medical information responses in region
• Support development and execution of local Medical Affairs and Patient Support Plan
• Attend meetings/congresses to gather intelligence and build stakeholder relationships
• Review and approve local SOPs and documents for patient programs
• Support assessment of new indications, patient pathways, and management strategies

• Relevant scientific degree (medical degree is a plus)
• 3+ years in biopharmaceutical/pharma or clinical with patient-facing role or medical knowledge
• Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
• Fluent in German and English
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Strong initiative and cross-functional teamwork
• Excellent knowledge of pharmacovigilance, compliance and local regulations
