Overview

In this role you help deliver high-quality medical content across therapy areas, adapting global English content for German audiences and creating original German materials. You will work with cross-functional teams to understand medical affairs and commercial contexts, and you’ll apply AI tools to boost efficiency while upholding scientific integrity. The position involves client-facing collaboration, on-site events, and maintaining compliance with industry guidelines. Verantwortungsbereiche

Understand therapeutic areas and interpret scientific data for diverse projects
Analyze literature and competitive information to inform brand strategy and share insights with teams
Participate in client meetings and strategic discussions with authors and advisors
Adapt writing style for different audiences (physicians, nurses, patients)
Structure and write materials like story flows, strategy frameworks, and competitive intelligence with limited supervision
Ensure references are complete and properly cited, and that work is tagged in VVPM
Maintain project timelines, briefs, and budgets, escalating issues as needed
On-site content development and client liaison for straightforward projects

Zentrale Anforderungen

Degree in a scientific or medical discipline (post-graduate degree preferred)
Strong interest in healthcare, science, medicine, and pharma industry
Experience as a (junior) medical writer in an agency or pharma company
Proficiency with MS Office, especially PowerPoint
Ability to translate complex scientific content into clear, visually engaging content
Fluent in German and English
Knowledge of AI tools and ability to apply them to workflows
Ability to travel within Germany and Europe as needed
